I believe it was a success, we took three vans and picked up forty-five people. We went to all the spots in the street, under the bridges and to the Day Center downtown for 1 van. It was great but a challenge, it rained all morning and when we got there a little early about 8:45, American Airline center security would not let us in. So we walked around the building one time and went to the van for about thirty min and went in about 9:30 other than that it went well.

I really want to thank some team members especially Earma, Paul Fraizer, Paul Bibbs, Brandon Jones for puting up with me, getting up at 5:00 am, picking up the vans and not calling to see if we were still going because it was raining. Guys they were awesome. Tonya, Delinda, Fran,Amanda and Jackie for food and sandwiches. The Blackard Family for the bags , candies, easter eggs, the Schirmers for helping facilitate at the AA Center, etc. And Michael Diaz for answering my call for help at the last minute, CC staff for vans and especially Shuronda Scott for shirts.

The people enjoyed the program they stood up and worshiped and ten gave there lives to the Lord . The Lord helped and there was no trouble and after the service a couple of church members gave us $200 for food, so we asked for a vote were they would like to eat and they said KFC, so we went and had just enough money, and the funny thing about it on the way down - I looked at Earma and said "Honey you know we didn"t have any money for this outreach" and she smiled. So God provided!

Lunch Bag contents:
$10 calling card orange
2 sandwiches candies
long-sleeve t-shirts CC Easter logo water
chips soda
mini-pies peanut butter crackers and more

We pray a hundred-fold return on your seed planted into your life team ministry.

Linking arms
Varn & Earma Brown
http://www.kdmmw.com

Christmas 2004 Outreach

We hosted a Blanket Drive for our 2004 Christmas Outreach to the Homeless.
